Fifth-grader Payge Maddix had not seen her father, who had been fighting in Afghanistan, in almost a year, but he gave her the surprise of her life at her school last Friday!

It truly is remarkable what our service men and women sacrifice for our freedom. I can’t imagine being away from family for an extended period. I just thank you and all of our military forces for all of their sacrifices. Glad to see you home safely, I hope you enjoy your time with your family, you truly deserve it.

I’m Payge’s Mom. Not the woman in the story. The “Dad” completely alienated both of my kids from me. Shouldn’t it be shocking that he’s named his third wife Payge’s Mom in this story? No. Par for the course. A hero and capable of using any means necessary to part me from them. He’s a master at creating fronts for his behind the scenes lies. He’s played the system and I’ve lost my kids to this coward who beats and bullies women. And smiles for cameras. When he sees this he’ll threaten me again and have me in court. I haven’t seen my kids since May. With the help of his third wife, they’re gone from my life. Sickening. What else is there left to fear? He will make sure he hurts me again. There’s no help do suggestions are nice but he’s always got me beat. It’s a game to him and he loves to be mean.
