five months? during the viet nam conflict, never call it a war, we were in that shithole for a year, once in a while we hit the philpines for ten days. but most of the time we were in nam. dont get me wrong, i as a career military have the utmost admiration for our all volunteer forces. but five months in the air force. of course my nam time was mostly my fault, because i kept volunteering to go back.
