Army Specialist Brandon Stephenson comes home from Afghanistan after a little over a year. When SPC Stephenson reached out to the Freeport firefighters they were happy to help and devised a plan to surprise his mother. After arriving to ‘investigate reports of a fire’ at the Stephenson home, the soldier approached his family disguised as a firefighter. However the jig only lasted a few moments as once he approached they recognized him, and his mom was absolutely speechless.
