After years apart, US Marine Tanner Davenport and his battle buddy Blue are reunited. Davenport was assigned to work beside Blue in Afghanistan to detect hidden bombs and explosive devices. New assignments forced them to go different ways but Davenport knew he wanted to eventually adopt his comrade. Finding information on where Blue was turned out to be an uphill battle that took months, but with some help from his family and Missouri Secretary of State Jason Kander’s office, Davenport was able to adopt Blue.
