BERLIN – Saturday marks the 154th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg, when the Confederate and Union armies fought during the Civil War. On that first day of battle, one soldier from Somerset County died and community members gathered for a special ceremony in honor of Private Joseph Ream.
