It had been a year since National Guard Sergeant Jen Sabrowsky had her family in her arms, but the wait would soon be over for her 12-year-old son.

While serving in the Middle East Sgt. Sabrowsky worked providing maintenance on helicopters with the Company D of the 1-147th Aviation Battalion.

Upon returning to Wisconsin she reached out to the staff at Mckinley Elementary School to plan a surprise reunion. Enthusiastic to help, the school came up with the idea for Sgt. Sabrowsky to disguised herself in the Jaguar mascot costume. Her son, Jake was completely blown away by the reveal.
