The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund: Make It Visible

Every month, proceeds from the advertisements you see on Welcome Home Blog go to a different charity that serves our military, its veterans, and their families. August’s donation went towards a new campaign from an amazing organization called the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund, a leader in supporting the men and women of the Armed Forces and their families. Begun in 2000 and established as an independent not-for-profit organization in 2003, the Fund has provided close to $150 million in support for the families of military personnel lost in service to our nation, and for severely wounded military personnel and veterans. These efforts are funded entirely with donations from the public, and hundreds of thousands of individuals have contributed to the Fund.

We wanted to bring attention to their newest campaign called Make It Visible. The Make It Visible campaign is raising money to build 9 NICoE Traumatic Brian Injury (TBI) & Post Traumatic Stress (PTS) Satellite Rehabilitation Centers for service members & veterans. These state-of-the-art facilities will provide our returning veterans suffering from TBI and PTS the highest quality care our nation has to offer. Please consider donating by visiting MakeItVisible.org.
