Taylor Swift surprises 96-year-old WWII veteran for Christmas

Pop singer Taylor Swift made a post-Christmas fanfare stop at the Missouri home of a World War II veteran, who professed his fandom for her.

Making her holiday rounds on December 26, Swift stopped by the New Madrid home of 96-year-old Cyrus Porter, who became a fan of her music after going to her concerts in an effort to get closer to his grandchildren.

Surrounded by Swift and 60 of his relatives, Porter snapped photos with the popstar, singing along with her and showing her newspaper clippings of his accomplishments.

Porter said that Swift has amazing showmanship and sounds good to even his nearly century-old ears.

“She puts on a show no one else puts on,” he said.

Porter has reportedly been to two of Swift’s shows.
