Sergeant Michael Dowell surprised his family with an early homecoming. The setting for the surprise was perfect as it was “Special Persons” Day in Mrs. McConnell’s 1st grade classroom at Mesa Verde Elementary. Though Sgt. Dowell came to bring his son daughter joy, a few of heir classmates were equally excited to have a real soldier in their presence.
