U.S. Air Force Major John Salotti is happy to be home from duty in Kuwait. His first order of business now that he is home was to surprise his son, Owen, at his school. Owen was expecting his class’s “mystery reader” to be his grandparents, who he’d been staying with until his dad returned. He was eminently surprised to see Major Salotti walk into his classroom, making Owen’s last day with his friends and peers at Arrowhead Elementary School one he’ll never forget.
