Marine veteran goes live with dangerous stunt to raise awareness for PTSD

PTSD is struggle Mark Perez knows personally, from leaving the Marines, to transitioning to civilian life, and seeing some of his close friends end their own lives.

Eventually he decided to make a change for himself. He reached out to other veterans like himself by starting a business called Bold Motion.

He decided to take a bold risk to prove a point by standing on the “Be Someone” bridge in full uniform, saluting for as long as he could until a train came speeding toward him and the police showed up.

Mark told KHOU “I’m trying to be someone to help people, and there are a lot of people out there like me. It’s just people choose different routes. I chose this route.”
