Neighborhood holds ‘Garage Prom’ for Navy daughter in cancer remission

When Virginia teen Victoria Ali was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, a fast-growing cancerous tumor that spreads to the brain and spinal cord, at the age of 15 she fell behind in school. While she underwent cancer treatments she became home schooled. So instead of worrying about typical teenager things, Victoria has been fighting for her life.

Despite missing out on so much time as normal teen, Victoria was invited to attend prom in Texas with her best friend. Unfortunately, harsh weather ruined her chance to go to prom until her friends and neighbors stepped in and gave her a night she won’t forget.
