After serving 8 months in Qatar, U.S. Navy AWO2 Robert Morales returns to Lynn, MA to put a smile on his oldest son, Adrian’s face. Showing up as a guest speaker on character building, Morales homecoming left little Adrian stunned. Frozen until the reality of his sailor standing in front of him set in, the second grader seemed to come back to life when his dad wrapped him in a warm hug. His classmates cheered in awe for the tender father and son reunion but also because they recognized the sailor from one of the troops they sent care packages to.
