After serving a year on Operation Enduring Freedom with the National Guard in Africa, the Coral Springs Police Department went out of their way to make sure that Officer Michael Zorrilla was ready for his day back at work. Lining the street, armed with American flags and banners, everyone cheered to show appreciation for their hero. Although Officer Zorilla surprised his family by coming home early, he was amazed to be on the receiving end. His wife told ABC 10 news that “”He had a look of terror on his face, like why are all these people here? But I think he figured it out pretty quickly.”
