U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant Adam Wylie was sent to South Korea a few weeks after his daughter was born. But just as it seemed like his family had been taken away from him, SSgt. Wylie was partnered with Emra, a Belgian Malinois. Spending up to 13 hours a day together for two years, with only each other to keep company, SSgt. Wylie and Emra had developed a bound deeper than any other dog he had worked with. Separated for three years, SSgt. Wylie’s family was finally complete with Erma back in his life for good.
