Army Specialist Daniel Paredes surprised his wife after returning from a ten-month deployment in Iraq. While his wife thought Spc. Paredes was still overseas assisting Operation Inherent Resolve and Operation Spartan Shield she was proud to throw out the first pitch in his honor at Yankee Stadium. That is, until she realized that her Soldier had returned to her and the happiness and relief of seeing her husband made her gleam.
