After her son, Army Sergeant TJ Butler was killed in Afghanistan in 2012 by a suicide bomber, Leslie did the best she could to keep his memory alive. When she met 7-year-old Mason Lee, who left a special note for Sgt. Butler after placing a flag on his grave the previous year, Leslie was touched. Deeply moved by Mason’s gesture and curiosity for Sgt. Butler, she was proud to share stories and memories of him.
