U.S. Army Sgt. Dillon Baldridge, 22, of Youngsville, was welcomed home at the Wilkes County Airport after being killed in Afghanistan. Baldridge’s return was met with a large crowd as well as a processional from various law enforcement agencies, emergency responders and Patriot Guard motorcycle riders. The processional was headed for Ashe County, where services were held Ashe County High School and the burial at Ashelawn Memorial Gardens with military honors. Video by Kayla Lasure.
