Fort Campbell Soldier rescues autistic teen

Recalling the events that happened still bring Martie Weeks to tears. Her family was tubing down the Red River in Clarksville, TN when she and her autistic son, Ronnie Harris, became separated and caught under a tree. Fortunately, Army Sergeant First Class Timothy Hansen was just up the river with his family when they heard Martie crying out.

Hansen told Fox News “I turn around and I see somebody go under a tree, and I dropped my phone and everything I had in my hands and I took off running to go help and assist.”

But Ronnie and his mother see Timothy as more than someone who helped them out but rather a hero.
