Soldier, state trooper honored with street renamed after him

Major Dwayne Kelley served his country and community in the Army and as a New Jersey State Police officer. Major Kelly was killed during his second tour to Iraq in a government building bombing. His family was presented with the Bronze Star and Purple Heart at his funeral service.

His mom, Vera Kelly told WTXF that, “he was what they said he was, really and truly one of the good guys.” Now his community will remember the selfless sacrifice that he made thousands of miles away.
