Dogs Go Crazy When Soldier Returns from Deployment

My husband, Specialist Mike Ennis had been deployed for four months and wasn’t quite sure how our dogs were going to react when he came home. On June 10th 2014, I picked him up from his Homecoming celebration on post in Fort Hood Texas, which is where his current station is. Sasha was the first to greet him at the door, rather shyly though. Shiloh the beagle was the first to start with the howling, and Lucy the smallest of the three wasn’t quite sure what to make of him being home. Things have returned to a semi-normal routine ( as normal as being in the military can be that is) and the dogs have once again been happily waiting by the door for him to come home from half days at work.
