Marine with PTSD brought to tears by family’s early Christmas present

A US Marine veteran suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder broke into tears after his early Christmas present arrived- and began licking his face.

Surrounded by family, the veteran -whose name is Peter Coukoulis- was given a box, wherein he found what appears to be a small female beagle puppy. Overwhelmed with emotion, Peter began to cry.

While the parents had been calling the dog “Willa” (a nod to one’s “will to live”), Peter eventually decided the name would “Stick.”

According to a Facebook post by mother Dena Hadoulis Coukoulis, the gift was in response to the loss of Peter’s original beagle, Jackie, who died while he was deployed overseas.
