Young girl waiting in line to meet Red Sox leaves for amazing reason

Given the chance meet the Red Sox and get her baseball signed, 7-year-old Makenna Woodburn lost her spot in line for an impromptu meet and greet with someone special.

Rather than having a baseball players sign her ball, Makenna decided that an autograph from a hero would be more significant.

It was this moment that U.S. Army Reservist Olyvia Russell realized that she too was in a major league. She told CBS Boston “This little girl, she proved to me that what I’m doing in life is OK and I’m doing something that’s good enough.”
